About Us

During the summer of '99 we became the parents of a wonderful little girl, Mira Elizabeth O'Hagan and during the summer of 2001 we became the parents of another wonderful little girl named Rowan Daly O'Hagan. What an adventure! Encounters with vaccinations, teething, breastfeeding, RESPs, wills and countless other issues sent us looking for information anywhere we could find it, including the Internet.

There are some great parenting resources on the web, but it can be difficult to find answers from a Canadian perspective. We began bookmarking the bits and pieces we found and thought other Canadian families would benefit from this collection. And so our third child was born - Kid Kanuck!

Over the next few months we hope to expand this directory to include even more great Canadian family links, as well as information about deals we find on the Internet, Canadian parenting news, articles, anecdotes, tips, and reviews of books, CDs, toys, software and other products for children. If you are interested in becoming a contributor or want to suggest a site for us to include, please drop us a line at kidkanuck@kidkanuck.com. We'll take a look at every site before we choose to include it, hoping to include the best made-in-Canada sites around and a few others from across the world.
